HAVE YOUR OLD FLOWER POUNDINGS FADED? YOU CAN FIX THEM!

In going through all my old Flower Pounding quilts I noticed one thing....a lot of the colors have faded. I decided they were worth fixing. I used colored pencils. I have a set with 120 colors and had no problem finding the right shade to match. I lightly colored over the faded parts and to my delight they looked as good, if not better, then new.
The old, faded quilt is on the left and the new fixed quilt is on the right.

Can you hear us? We're flower pounding!

I had bookmarked the Simply Quilts episode that you were one - this is such a pretty project to make.

Well, now that we're home this summer and tending to our gardens, we're snipping and gathering the best candidates for pounding!
Looks like the purple weeds are giving us the best images...that's so funny - wait till I tell the neighbor I'm looking at her weeds!

Hope to have something pretty done soon to share.
